Seeing this I was reminded about how many times I have discovered something very wrong about a problem on a test or homework assignment when I was fixing a smaller error. I've come to realize that I should always check even the smallest parts of my work, even when I'm confident they are right. By doing so, it helps me ensure the entire problem is correct.
Hey there Austin!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your picture! I once did a wine and palate type of thing (where you sip on yummy drinks and paint something), and the instructor kept stressing how there are not mistakes, only creative opportunities. This made me think of that day – I had such a blast working with my “creative opportunities”. By paying attention just a little more, you can learn more about the situation – just like with test/homework problems. While those small details aren’t nearly as fun as my painting mistakes, offer the same learning opportunities!
